“Me, Myself, and I” Astrological Tea Recipe for Aries Season

Me Myself and I Aries Astrological Tea .png

It’s Vivian here, serving up some astrological tea (literally). As you may have seen from my Instagram posts, I’ve been studying transits/predictive astrology with Oak Astrology School and it has been amazing. Also sending a shout out to my teacher Karen Rose of Sacred Vibes Apothecary for teaching me herbalism and sparking my desire to deepen my understanding of plants through astrology!

I was inspired to create an herbal tea to accompany my Aries season/spring equinox horoscope that I worked on for class, to both capture the energies happening in the sky, as well as help us respond to and work with what’s going on. I’m sharing this here too so that it may be of benefit to you too!

“Me, Myself, and I” Herbal Tea

An Astrological Tea herbal blend to support you during Aries Season in honoring your boss self.

1 part nettles ♂️

1 part rose♀️

1 part chamomile ☉

1 part mint ☿

½ part ginger ♂️

  1. Mix the herbs together.

  2. Steep 1 tbsp per cup of boiling water for 20+ min. Sip and enjoy.

Here’s the Astrological Tea:

Nettle is high in vitamins and minerals, including iron, which is ruled by Mars, the planet that rules Aries, the sign that the Sun now in. It helps with developing protection and boundaries, while releasing negative energy. It helps with allergies, anemia, and urinary infections. It also helps with releasing fear, the emotion associated with the kidney. Mars trined Saturn on 3/21, which is a signal for all of us to put in the hard work towards our goals step by step, and it’s important to sustain our energy as we do so.

Venus left Pisces and entered Aries on 3/21 and conjunct the Sun on 3/26. It’s time to go for what you want!! Get it!!! And, be careful about going about getting what you want impulsively, and really check in with your heart and your values so that your actions are aligned with that. Remember to bring in the compassion from the Venus in Pisces period, especially when it comes to balancing your needs/wants in relationship as we approach the Full Moon in Libra on 3/28. Rose, an herb ruled by Venus, is added to this tea blend for connecting to your heart and (self) compassion.

Chamomile! A small, soft flower of brightness ruled by the Sun. Chiron hangs around the Sun and Venus in Aries, and it is during this time that the need for inner child healing may come up. You may see the past wounds that may have/are lingering regarding how you see and are seen. Chamomile brings softness, comfort, and joy as we do this inner work of healing and loving up on ourselves.

Mint, an herb ruled by Mercury, is for clarity of mind and communication. Lots of ideas and inspiration can come through during Mercury in Pisces, but with it being square to Mars this week and later conjunct to Neptune on 3/29, it can also be a time for sudden conflicts and arguments, fueled by muddled thinking. Mint cools down our emotions so that we can be mindful of speech and proceed as clearly as possible. It also helps us connect to our crown chakra, so that we can hone in on the spiritual messages that we are receiving at this time. It also brings gentle cleansing liver support as we are now in the springtime.

Ginger, a well known and loved herb ruled by Mars! What is Aries season without this boo to spice up your life? Ginger bids you to reclaim yourself and your creative spark. It activates your digestion, clears respiratory congestion, increases blood circulation, and provides anti-inflammatory support for muscle and joint pain, among many other things. This versatile kitchen staple is all about giving you the energy and vitality to pursue your passions. With the Mars trine Saturn on 3/21, followed by Mars conjunct the North Node in Gemini on 3/26, you’ll find your desire to take action towards Gemini pursuits (learning, communicating, short distance travel, ideas). Ginger is here to give you that fiery boost of inspiration.
