Confronting Anti-Blackness as Asian Americans: An Interactive Writing & Herbal Workshop

RSVP here: bit.ly/ConfrontTogether

This workshop is for self-identified Asian Americans* to work through and confront anti-Blackness. We will use storytelling, writing prompts, and learn how to make herbal teas that support this work. This is a space for Asian Americans to learn to support the movement towards Black liberation and a world in which we are all free.

*This space is intended for Asian Americans who do not identify as Black. Our intention is to strengthen a foundation in which Asian Americans who don’t identify as Black can process and learn to be better accomplices to Black folks (with or without Asian ancestry).

Suggested donation: $10-60.

All proceeds will support Black Trans Funds (G.L.I.T.S., The Okra Project, Emergency Release Fund, For The Gworls, and others that may be in need at the time).

Please send donations via Venmo to @HuiyingB or via Paypal to thevivmac@gmail.com with the note “Confront Together.”

Co-facilitated by Huiying B. Dandelion and Vivian Mac. Special thanks to The W.O.W. Project and Sacred Vibes Apothecary. Graphic design by Amber Dennis.
