I will be teaching a workshop for the 4th(!) time with Kelly Pacumio, a fellow Spiritual Herbalist and Registered Nurse. We will discuss “Plants Connect Us: Ancestral Technology Through Diaspora” at Sacred Vibes’ 8th Annual Spiritual Herbalism Conference, Ancestral Intelligence (A.I.)—A Future of Remembering Saturday, October 3 - Sunday, October 5th.

This year’s theme of Ancestral Intelligence (A.I.) emphasizes a resurrection by memory—memories rich with the tools needed to empower, envision, and create our community's future. We fully realize that our ancestors' technologies are valuable and that our lives are worthy.  

Our survival and our remembrance are linked. We are confident that our ancestors' technology and intelligence are the lifeblood of our future. To live a liberated life and to thrive, we learn to invoke our ancestors' existence, wisdom, and skills as a reference for wholeness in the future. 

This year’s conference is a hybrid event with sessions offered in person as well as online.

Our workshop is offered during the virtual portion of the conference on Sunday, October 5th!
